The Stories Behind the Snowflakes – Sparkle for Axl

Sparkle for Axl – In memory of a special little boy, Axl aged almost three.  We remember him every Christmas.  His legacy is fund specialist toys and games that stay in hospital for children and their siblings to play with whilst they are being treated.  

The Walker family are expecting another baby in the New Year and are particularly thankful to the NHS for all their incredible support.  Ordinarily the family and friends fundraise by wearing sparkly jumpers and donating.  This year they will be virtually joining family and friends going sparkly on Friday 11 December.

The gesture of having his name live on in lights this year means so much, especially for his brother Lucas.
