We are an an award-winning charity who work in partnership with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to deliver projects which make a real difference to patients and their families. We fund projects and equipment which are beyond the scope of government funding, enhance hospital care and the patient environment, and we invest in the development and wellbeing of our staff.
Our NHS Trust is responsible for providing hospital services for around 500,000 people, and specialist services for some 1.1 million. Staff work over several sites, including Bradford Royal Infirmary, which provides the majority of inpatient services, and St Luke’s Hospital, which predominantly provides outpatient and rehabilitation services. Our Trust also manages local community hospitals at Westwood Park, Westbourne Green, Shipley and Eccleshill. We support all sites, departments, and clinical areas of our Trust.
At Bradford Hospitals’ Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our patients and our staff. Your donations and support take us closer to achieving our vision of providing the very best possible care, experience and facilities.
As an NHS charity, our trustees are made up of our Trust’s board of executive directors and non-executive directors. They represent a range of professional backgrounds and all sections of our diverse community.
We fund projects which enhance care and have a huge impact on patient experience and outcomes.
Bradford Teaching Hospitals has provided the very best specialist care to sick patients for many decades.
Our city has a proud history of philanthropic giving, which has enabled our hospitals to provide the high standard of care we now receive.
