Baggins the Bear Appeal
Baggins the Bear transforms the experience of children having surgery in the city by vastly reducing the stress and anxiety of young patients and their parents.
With you help Bradford Hospitals’ Charity can fund Baggins for all children aged 3-11 who have elective surgery of any kind at Bradford Royal Infirmary. This includes:
- A personalised letter from Baggins explaining their upcoming operation
- Access to an animated video showing Baggins going through surgery in a child-friendly way
- A welcome gift on the day of surgery, including a soft toy Baggins and a Baggins activity book
- A chance to meet Big Baggins, a life-sized version of the bear, before surgery.
