Super supporter Mark gloved up to raise money for our hospitals' tiniest fighters
Super supporter Mark gloved up to raise money for our hospitals' tiniest fighters, when he took part in a white-collar boxing match to raise funds to support BHC.
Mark said “Our son Toby was transferred from Airedale to Bradford NICU after complications at birth. The support and compassion the whole team showed our family was incredible. We were very lucky to get one of the rooms on the unit so we could stay with Toby during his 9 days in the NICU and it made one of the worst experiences of our lives much more manageable.
“I would like to thank the whole team at Bradford Neonatal Unit.
“Stepping outside your comfort zone and raising money for a cause that means so much to you gives you a great feeling. It's amazing being able to give back to a charity that helped me and my family.
“I have already arranged my next challenge which will take place on Saturday 13th April 2024 and that's a 50 mile walk on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal!”
We’re so grateful to Mark for stepping into the ring for Bradford Hospitals’ Charity - thanks to awesome support from family and friends he raised a brilliant £650 for BHC!
