Bradford businesses and families have donated more than 1,000 Easter eggs so far this year to the children and young people receiving medical treatment at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Bradford Hospitals’ Charity – the official NHS charity partner of the Trust – co-ordinates the Easter Appeal each year. This spring, it has also raised more than £250 and received 75 gifts from its Easter Amazon WishList.
Some of the generous donors include: our children’s ambassador for Bradford Hospitals’ Charity, Molly-Mae Windle, JCI Bradford, Wyke Rugby Club, Bradford Sai Centre, Imran Khan, Kids Planet Nursery, Asda Cemetery Road, D Walsh & Sons Funerals, Howard Civil Engineering, UK Global, and Nuffield Gym Cottingley.
Hayley Collis, Head of Fundraising for Bradford Hospitals’ Charity, said: “Thank you to the people of Bradford, who have shown incredible generosity yet again this Easter.
“The Easter eggs and gifts bring a big smile to the faces of our children and young people. The money donated to our appeal will be used to fund toys, arts and crafts for our young patients to help distract them during what can be a difficult time in hospital.”
