A night of Hollywood magic raises vital funds for our Neonatal Unit

 
Andrea and her team organised this amazing event. Andrea said: "Following the huge success of the first winter wonderland ball in 2018, the team decided to take on organising another in November 2024. The theme was the easy part! We decided on Hollywood glitz and glamour. The ball was organised to raise funds for the Neonatal appeal. Staff on the unit are taking part in various fundraising efforts, with all proceeds going towards the big build. The neonatal appeal is going to raise funds to transform and refurbish our current bedroom facilities for our parents."

 

 
The dedication of our team was remarkable. Special recognition goes to Karen Toth-Jones from Party Perfection, whose expertise in event planning was invaluable, Claire for securing incredible auction prizes, Emma who managed the finances brilliantly, and Lisa and Kelly from Bradford Hospitals Charity for their support.
 
"The generosity we witnessed at this year's ball was truly extraordinary, "Every pound raised brings us closer to providing the comfortable, dignified spaces our parents deserve while their little ones are in our care. The commitment shown by our local community – from staff members to former patients to local businesses – demonstrates the incredible spirit of Bradford. This funding will make a real difference to families during one of their most challenging times."
 

We were deeply touched by the tremendous support from our staff, unit families, and local businesses who not only attended but enthusiastically participated in our fundraising activities. This wonderful show of community spirit exemplifies why our neonatal unit is so special - we truly are one team, united in our commitment to providing the best possible care for future families and their precious babies.

 

 

 
Looking ahead, we're thrilled to announce that planning is already underway for our 2025 Winter Ball, scheduled for 29th November 2025 at The Cedar Court Hotel. Save the date - it promises to be an unforgettable evening and would make the perfect Christmas party.  Table bookings will be available soon!
