Our Volunteer Roles

By giving just a little of your time, you can help us make a big difference to the lives of our patients and their families!

As a charity we rely on the support we receive from our wonderful volunteers, so whatever your reason for volunteering we can find an opportunity to meet your needs and lifestyle, from fundraising administration to supporting one of our exciting events. There is really something for everyone!

If any of the above roles interest you or there is something else you would like to get involved with please fill out our volunteer application form here.

Events volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to help out at our events.

You could be doing anything from welcoming participants, selling merchandise or cheering our runners and cyclists on. Whatever your role on the day, we guarantee you’ll have an amazing time!

Collection Tin Coordinator

If you’re a real people person and can strike up a conversation with anyone in your local community, our collection tin coordinator role could be the one for you!

This would require you to visit local shops and businesses and ask them if they would like a Bradford Hospitals’ Charity collection tin. Every few months you would be responsible for swapping the tins for an empty one and returning the full ones to us.

If you would like to get involved please read more here.

Admin volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who can work two hours every Monday and help with general administrative tasks. This will involve assisting with updating our database and helping with mailings. Click here for more information.

Fundraising groups

If you have a group of friends that want to support our hospital, why not create your own fundraising group and invite others to join you!

You could hold regular meetings to think of new ideas and one of our charity team will be on call to help you with any questions you might have!

Please give us a call on 01274 274809 if you would like an informal chat about any of our volunteer roles. Alternatively, drop us an email at charity@bthft.nhs.uk
