We are delighted to dedicate a snowflake to Ashfield House Day Nursery for raising more than £3,000 for our BIG Neonatal Appeal this year.
The nursery, which has two settings in Eccleshill, Bradford, held a fundraising week in November. The children all took part having an extra messy play day, a baking day and a PJ day.
Laura Izzard, deputy manager, said: “We finished off our fundraising week by going the extra mile – literally! As 18 of our staff members did a 13-mile sponsored walk from Shipley to Leeds along the canal. We had so many well wishes of support throughout the whole week and very generous donations all round.
“This is a charity that is close to many of our hearts and we’re over the moon with the amount we’ve managed to raise this year for Bradford’s BIG Neonatal Appeal.”
Pictured are the members of staff taking part in the sponsored walk.
